Greasepit (facility)
| This article is about the building that is sometimes a character. For the eponymous small character, see Greasepit (Micromaster). For a list of other meanings, see Greasepit (disambiguation). |
- The Greasepit is a Decepticon Micromaster base from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hey buddy, yeah, you. You need a fill-up? Come on in! Yeah, come on in, just drive on up the ramp to Greasepit's gas station, also known as the Greasepit. Naw, don't worry, the ramp ain't too steep. Naw, buddy, c'mon, would I lie to yas? It's fine! It's not too steep! It's A-D-A compliant! Yeah, ADA, and FHA, too, and FDA, yeah, and NBC. It's safe! Pull on up!
Alright, there ya go, come on in. Fill 'er up! What, those things down there? Naw, those ain't ion cannons, naw. They're, uh, gasoline storage tank cannons, yeah, that's the ticket. What's that? And get this — it can also turn itself into a battle station. Yeah, a battle station! It's got cannons, rail guns, a sonic disruption tower, the whole shootin' works. Ha! "Shootin' works". Dat's pretty good, eh?
Fiction
Beast Wars: Uprising
The Gasoline Base was operated by Greasepit on a post-war Cybertron. After an anti-government faction, the Resistance, sprung up to overthrow the status-quo, Greasepit integrated the base into the city of Micropolis. From there, he would normally only give out partial rations, due to the fuel shortage the planet was in the midst of. However, when the Maximal rebel Grimlock stole the G-Virus, Greasepit was issued an order to fill up the tanks of several government agents so that they could more readily deal with the crisis at hand. Toys
The Transformers

- Greasepit (Micromaster Station, 1989)
- Accessories: Sign, missile, ramp
- The gas station was sold in a small boxed package, along with The Transformers Greasepit. Stickers along the "building" portion simulate the inside of a garage repair bay and a convenience store, and advertise Super Gasoline Z-1. Two simulated gas pumps and a "Gas Station" sign complete the operation. Battle mode reveals a quad-gun, three blaster cannons, a non-firing missile and floodlights, plus the "GAS" sign becomes a radar panel.
- Ramps allow the gas station to connect to other Micromaster stations to form larger "city" complexes.
- In Japan, the station was sold without changes as the Autobot Glasspit's "Gasoline Base".
Generations

- Greasepit (Deluxe Class, 2020)
- Accessories: Blaster, Gas pumps, sign
- Rebranded with the name of the classic operator, Generations Selects Greasepit is a redeco of Earthrise Ironworks with some new accessories. As a Modulator redeco, Greasepit can assume many different building configurations and connect to other Earthrise bases, while his parts can also be used as weapons or armor. Instead of the crane arm that Ironworks came with, Greasepit has new fuel pump and a gas station sign parts that can both connect via a 5 mm post.
- Unlike Ironworks and the previous toyline's Weaponizers, Greasepit's instructions do not specify a method to use his components to augment other toys, instead showing two additional base modes that weren't in Ironworks' instructions. Both toys can also assume modes from the other's instructions, due to being redecos of each other.
- This figure (and Exhaust) appeared on eBay in late June of 2020, and was also immediately offered with an instant "in stock" purchase option by several online retailers (mostly based out of Europe) despite not being officially acknowledged by Hasbro until the next month.
Notes
- This and the other three Micromaster Stations were later re-used in one of Takara's Brave lines, omitting the Micromasters and adding a pair of non-transforming mini-figures from the series.
- The gas station is one of a handful of Micromaster bases that lack any sort of transport mode.
