Akram is Mahfouz's father. He has a cell phone, but that bastard William Lennox used all the minutes when Scorponok attacked his village.

Akram was in the desert village where he and his son, Mahfouz, live, when a group of US Military troops come running across the desert pursued by a giant mechanical scorpion. The troops, including Mahfouz and his idol, William Lennox rush into the village. Mahfouz leads Lennox to Akram where Lennox asks him for a telephone. Akram speaks English and hands Lennox a cell phone as he leads Mahfouz to safety. Akram never got his phone back. Transformers
