"She's lost that loving feeling."
  • Maverick (2021)
    • Accessories: 4 missiles, 2 rifles, 2 alt-hands, volleyball, motorcycle
The fourth figure released in the Collaborative line, Maverick is a roughly Voyager-sized figure and is the first toy in the line to be a totally original mold, not borrowing any parts from other figures. He transforms into a fully-licensed Northrop Grumman F-14 Tomcat jet, the iconic jet from the original Top Gun movie. The figure also features folding jet wings and movie-inspired details, including a helmet design inspired by the upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick.
Maverick includes a screen-inspired miniature motorcycle accessory and two alternate hands that can hold the included volleyball accessory. It also comes with four missile accessories that can be mounted on figure's arms in robot mode and under its wings in jet mode.
This toy is exclusive to the Hasbro Pulse web-store.

Notes

  • Maverick is named after Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, the lead character of the Top Gun films.
  • The dog tags on Maverick's packaging feature two dates: May 26, 1986, the theatrical release date of Top Gun; and June 26, 2020, the planned release date of Top Gun: Maverick. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Maverick was delayed to July 2, 2021, meaning the packaging was already out of date by the time the toy was announced.
