Jungaroo is a Beastformer from the Generation 1 continuity family.
You don't just eat—you Jungaroo!

Jungaroo (ジャンガルー Jangarū), also known as Jun (ジャン Jan), is one of the many Beastformers who joined White Leo's resistance forces as Galvatron's Decepticons began to conquer the formerly-peaceful planet Beast with their army of cold-blooded insurgents. A cheerful and sociable fellow who almost never feels down, he loves sports and is a champion at track-and-field events. He can perform jumps of over 50 meters thanks to his powerful leg muscles, which has led to his role of leaping warrior in the Autobot-allied Beastformer forces, and wields the Garoomerang MVP Weapon that can be thrown at high speeds and avoids obstacles automatically. He holds the rank of King of Chibara, where he was born, over his long time friend Emperor Sea Iron.

Toys

Beastformers

PROTEIN.
  • Jungaroo (Beastformer, 1987)
    • Beast ID number: 35
    • Accessories: "Garoomerang" blade
Part of the second series of Beastformers, Jungaroo is an anthropomorphic kangaroo. His left hand is a large boxing-glove-like fist. He comes with his "Garoomerang" (ガルメラン) boomerang/sword.
His rubsign reveals one of three symbols; Fire, Water, or Wood. The initial release has the symbol as a black outline against "mood ring" style color-changing backdrop. He was re-released in series three, in a new box lacking the Transformers brand marks; this release gives him a rubsign that reveals a full-color symbol on a black backdrop.

Notes

  • The Hasbro release of "Kickback Kangaroo" was similarly (eventually) available with both styles of rubsign.
