Notes

  • While the Cyberverse series is no stranger to renaming legacy characters, this Insecticon is known in the cartoon by the classic rendition "Shrapnel" whereas the toy refers to him by the frequently-used trademark rename "Skrapnel".
  • Shrapnel's design is heavily inspired by his Generation 1 counterpart (specifically the Legends Class toy mold introduced in Generations) but with minor stylistic tweaks, namely his visor being replaced by traditional eyes. He is the most recognizable Insecticon because he shares the same color scheme as G1 Shrapnel.
  • Out of the Insecticon trio, Shrapnel is the only one to have dialogue and a robot mode. He is also the only one to appear in the toyline.
