Beachcomber finds a Golden Lagoon that coats Transformers in invulnerable Electrum.

Synopsis

[edit]

While fleeing the Decepticons, Beachcomber stumbles on a Golden Lagoon brimming with Electrum, a substance that makes Transformers invulnerable. Thrust also happens upon the Lagoon while pursuing Beachcomber, and after coating himself, informs his fellows. The other Decepticons are soon likewise dipped, and Megatron decides the time for victory is at hand. The Decepticons swiftly defeat Omega Supreme, who makes the mistake of thinking superior firepower will overcome his foe, but when the Decepticons reach Autobot Headquarters, they find it empty.

Rushing back to the Golden Lagoon, they find that the Autobots are already there and are now completely invulnerable as well. Regardless, the Decepticons attempt to press their advantage, but the Electrum has rendered everyone invulnerable and battle is pointless. As the coating wears off, both sides begin a retreat, and Beachcomber laments the wanton destruction of both the lagoon and its surrounding glen.

Notes

[edit]
  • The game service was briefly shut down during this episode so that Mobage could deal with players who'd found a way to cheat. Naughty, naughty.
  • This is another "dungeon crawl" campaign, just a week after the previous one ended.
  • It's pretty much the same plot as the G1 episode "The Golden Lagoon", even replicating some lines of dialog.
  • Despite the episode's cards featuring characters coated in electrum, those cards are not, in fact, invulnerable. Sorry!
