The Technobots team up with Tom Sellick Dirk Manus.
Synopsis
[edit]Dirk Manus finds his ship the Lazy Sue under attack from Hun-Gurrr and Cutthroat, however the Technobots Lightspeed, Scattershot and Afterburner arrive and rescue him. With the Autobots unaware that Manus's clients are the Quintessons, Dirk persuades them to help him deliver his cargo. The Technobots agree to accompany him, only for the Decepticons to again attack the ship with the aim of acquiring the Recreator. The Technobots are defeated, however the Quintessons promptly double-cross Manus by paying him in mimic dust. Manus uses the Recreator to revive the Technobots who promptly trounce the foe.
You play as the Decepticons.

[edit]- This is a campaign event.
- It's based on the Generation 1 cartoon episode "Money Is Everything". It uses art that replicates actual screen captures from the episode.
- In fact, the artwork looks so much like screenshots from the episode, you'd swear Mobage got their hands on actual animation cels from Toei (the studio that animated the original episode).
- The Transformers Legends blog announced the event but the synopsis given was for the following event.
- Though she is not mentioned in the story, Marissa Faireborn makes an appearance on Dirk Manus's card art.
- Manus's bio throws in several Star Wars references, noting that he has "done the Lunar-Mars run in under 12 cyberminutes", and noting that he always shoots first.
