A Cyber-slash tail weapon is a rotating blade used by the Predacon/Maximal Dinobot. When Dinobot transforms to robot mode, his velociraptor tail converts into a two-pronged blade that spins and spins. When deployed, it can batter enemies, deflect enemy fire, trim down wild bean vines, or, when its wielder is up in the air, provide a more gentle, controlled descent.

It has several other names:

• Veloci-Rotor blade
• Rotary Blade
• "slasher weapon"
• "spinning blade weapon"
• Cyber Shield (サイバー・シールド Saibā Shīrudo)

Several other Beast Era transformers have similar or identical weapons:

• Grimlock's rotating blade is called a Spinning Slasher Sword.
• Thrustor's rotating blade is a Raptor Shield (ラプターシールド Raputā Shīrudo).
• Hardhead's rotating blade is the Revolution Shield.
• Dinotron's version of this weapon is called merely a "spinning blade".
