- Slide is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
When you're as cool as Slide, everything looks easy. When the heat is on, the trick is to not let them see you sweat. Sure, that might make his squadmates think he's not making an effort, but he doesn't want them to know how much he cares. Keep it cool, boy. Real cool.[1]
His combiner partner on the Metro Squad is Oiler.

- Micromaster Combiner Metro Squad (1990)
- Slide transforms into a white tanker trailer that is intended to be the rear half of a blue and white tanker truck that he forms with his combiner partner Oiler. He can, of course, combine with any other Micromaster Combiner to form a new vehicle, as well as connect to any Micromaster Transport. Slide was only available in a six-pack with his squadmates Oiler, Power Run, Roadburner, Strikedown and Wheel Blaze.
