Slide is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Wearing white after Labor Day and while carrying around gallons of oil?

• Micromaster Combiner Metro Squad (1990)

Slide transforms into a white tanker trailer that is intended to be the rear half of a blue and white tanker truck that he forms with his combiner partner Oiler. He can, of course, combine with any other Micromaster Combiner to form a new vehicle, as well as connect to any Micromaster Transport. Slide was only available in a six-pack with his squadmates Oiler, Power Run, Roadburner, Strikedown and Wheel Blaze.

In Japan, Slide came as part of the Fire Tanker W Team with Oiler, Wheelblaze and Roadburner. All four components were identical to their Hasbro releases. The group also came with Micro Trailer #5.
