Offroad is an elite Decepticon soldier, taking orders directly from Megatron himself.

When Megatron prepared the space bridge to transport the AllSpark to Cybertron, Offroad was among the Decepticon soldiers trying to defeat the Autobots in a canyon. Offroad fought alongside his master when the Decepticon goons were defeated. Regardless, Offroad was defeated by Optimus Prime's crew.

However, when Megatron escaped to Cybertron using the space bridge, the high-ranking Decepticon soldier destroyed the machine with his blaster, preventing the Autobots from chasing Megatron to their homeworld. Offroad briefly expressed satisfaction at completing his mission before crumpling over, presumably dying. Transformers: Battlegrounds

Trivia

• Offroad's design is a stylized version of his Generation 1 counterpart's Combiner Wars toy. He is also the basis of the Brawler generic enemies. Some stole his colorscheme, but they do not appear at the same time as him.
