Grapple glove
The grapple glove is one of Wheeljack's devices for kicking ass—namely, a transforming brass-knuckle type device that fits over a human's hand, capable of firing a grappling hook out of its knuckles.

[edit]At an impromptu regrouping of the Autobots and humans in the midst of war-torn Chicago, Wheeljack gave the men in Epps's team two devices he was working on, one of which was the grapple glove.
The glove proved quite useful later when, in a one-on-one confrontation with Starscream, Sam Witwicky got the bright idea to shoot the Decepticon's eye with it. However, the idea quickly proved not-so-bright when the panicking half-blind Starscream started swinging Sam around like a yo-yo as the boy couldn't help but hang on. As Lennox's team arrived and started firing on the Decepticon, Sam primed one of the boomsticks he had with him and shoved it in Starscream's working eye, completely blinding him. Lennox tried to free Sam, but to little avail, and they were both whipped through the air. As Starscream swore to kill them both, the boomstick in his head finally went off, killing him and severing the duo's connection to him and ending the career of the grapple glove. Dark of the Moon
