S.T.A.R.S.

The S.T.A.R.S. (a somewhat redundant acronym for "Secret Transformer Autobot Rescue Squad") were a group of human Autobot allies during the Generation One era. S.T.A.R.S.' duties included maintaining a watch for potential Decepticon activity, and alerting the Autobots in case of such an occurence. S.T.A.R.S. members were given a pamphlet explaining their duties, a patch to show their allegiance, and a cardboard playset.

The Omnibots, the Powerdashers, and the Time Warrior were known affiliates of the S.T.A.R.S., and Rodimus Prime once regaled a young S.T.A.R.S. member with the tale of Digital Doom on the Highway to Destruction.
