If you live in the United Kingdom, saying "I want a Wii" has a very different meaning....

The Wii is a video game console released in 2006 by Nintendo as the GameCube's successor. It is Nintendo highest-selling home console,[1] and one of the most iconic consoles of all time. The Wii's main gimmick is its focus on motion controls, which are integrated into its controllers.

Though the Wii was wildly successful (the same could not be said for its successor), it was notorious for its droves of bargain-basement software (often referred to as "shovelware").
