The Japan-exclusive Beast Wars Neo toy-line would see many new molds, splitting the Cybertrons as largely mammals and the Destrons as dinosaurs. Several figures would be remolded or redecorated from the Beast Wars Toy Line, most notably the Fuzors which didn't see characterization in the Beast Wars television show.

An ultra-sized resin prototype of this toy has surfaced at various conventions. It featured grabber claws and an immense amount of 'organic' detail in the design. The toy did not see release, however, with Takara citing lagging interest in the 'Beast Wars' series of anime and toys.
An orange and gray redecoration of the Beast Wars II figure was planned as Galvatron's final upgrade with Unicron's essence for Beast Wars Neo, but was never released. (The character, in this form, did appear in the show, however.)
