Optimus Prime is meeting each recruit for their 'Student Progress Review'. Whirl fears her run of good reviews might be broken, so she does everything she can to avoid having that meeting.
Synopsis
Hot Shot, Hoist and Wedge reflect on the results of the performance reviews they've gotten from Optimus Prime. Medix also arrives, having just obtained his results, and the four recruits observe Whirl, who claims to be too busy to go get her review just now. The rescue alarm goes off, and the recruits are soon rounding up cows to save them from a tornado. Hot Shot asks Whirl if something's bugging her, and she confesses she's worried about getting a bad review. Thus distracted, Whirl's sucked into the tornado.
After falling to the ground, Whirl finds herself in a multi-colored landscape where a nearby squirrel starts talking to her with Ratchet's voice. The squirrel points out if she returns to the Academy, she'll have to face Optimus, but advises her to follow the yellow tech road which leads to a castle where a scary wizard might let her use the GroundBridge. Walking along the road, Whirl encounters Hot Shot, who seems unaware of what's happening and speeds off after challenging her to a race. She finds Hoist in a junk yard fixing things, and suggests he follow Optimus's advice to focus on one thing at a time. This accomplished, the pair are joined by Hot Shot as they continue heading towards the castle.
The trio are soon joined by Medix and Wedge, at which point the recruits drive the rest of the way to the castle. A booming voice demands to know who has come to visit the Wizard of Botz and only allows Whirl to enter. She encounters the wizard — Heatwave's giant holographic head — and pleads her case, whereupon the wizard agrees to let them use the GroundBridge. Medix discovers that the giant head is actually being controlled by Tough Luck Chuck, however his attempt to use the controls himself results in the ceiling collapsing on the GroundBridge, cutting off their route him. The squirrel reappears, telling Whirl that she has the power to return to the Academy herself.
Whirl wakes up in her stasis pod, with the other recruits telling her she's been recuperating from her fall all day. Optimus drops by to check on her and she asks for the results of her review. Naturally she aced it, though Optimus comments she needs to stop overthinking things.
