Hefter
- Hefter is a Decepticon from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hefter is a laborer and Decepticon sympathizer.

During the reign of Zeta Prime, Hefter of Uraya was a manual laborer and friend to Tappet. He aspired to be an astrophysicist, but functionist doctrine forced him to use his forklift alternate mode to perform manual labor at one of Cybertron's many spaceports. Inspired by their message, Hefter joined the Decepticons and became a gunrunner. He was soon arrested and placed into police custody, where he mysteriously died was killed by Outback. Tappet demanded justice for his friend, though Orion Pax's assurances did little to convince him it would happen. Following Hefter's death, a protest erupted outside of police headquarters, asking for justification. Zeta, meanwhile, couldn't even be bothered to remember the guy's name, coldly claiming that "Lifter" had "got what was coming to him". To Walk Among the Chosen

- Hefter's colors are taken from Armada Smokescreen[1] while his forklift alt-mode and being mistaken for "Lifter" are probably references to Liftor, Smokescreen's Mini-Con partner.
