Antex was an Argentine company that held the license to manufacture and market Transformers toys in Argentina during Generation 1 and Generation 2. Outside of Argentina, Antex is best known for producing the Jumpstarter redecoes Salt-Man X and Salt-Man Z (characters that were also used by the Brazilian TF licensee Estrella). During Generation 2, Antex used the Jumpstarter molds yet again for the Argentine-exclusive Decepticons Robot-Man X and Robot-Man Z.
