Username Origin

(Original section title: Uh...) Where'd you get your name from? --Kaon Prisoner 21:44, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

It was the magic word used by the Silver Age Blue Beetle. I think I may have misspelled it, though. --Khajidha 06:40, 7 June 2011 (EDT)
I think you've got it right— that's how they spell it in the Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) comics (which are excellent), although I believe they put a space or a hyphen or somesuch in the middle. Nice username, strong approval, etc. --Bobcat2022 23:13, 10 July 2011 (EDT)
Just to be a completist (I'm in the right place for that, yes?) I looked it up, and officially nowadays there's no second H ("da" instead of "dha"). Close enough for government work, though. --Bobcat2022 23:17, 10 July 2011 (EDT)
Yeah, I think it's varied all over the place over the years. I've seen "kaji dha", "khaji da" and "khaji dha". I just kind of went with what looked coolest to me. --Khajidha 00:48, 11 July 2011 (EDT)

Question

Hi, um. Bit of an awkward question, but are you trans? And if so, which pronouns do you prefer? Sorry if I'm bothering you. Escargon (talk) 20:59, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

Not a bother at all. I am a dual-role transvestite. I have both a male and a female identity. I do not wish to transition, but am uncomfortable if I am not able to be my femme-self for long periods of time. I prefer that people use the pronouns that match my presentation at the time. On here you can use whichever you wish. --Khajidha (talk) 04:51, 20 June 2016 (EDT)

"Theme" can be a verb. Would you like to dramatically question my sanity again? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 07:13, 10 June 2019 (EDT)

1) I wasn't questioning its use as a verb, just the specific construction "themed on". I had never seen that particular construction and it sounded extremely odd to me. Checking around since you posted here, I have found it in use. 2) I wasn't questioning your sanity, I was questioning the grammar. --Khajidha (talk) 12:15, 10 June 2019 (EDT)

Thanks

Thanks for helping me with my user page. I've been frequenting the wiki for a while, but I'm not good with that type of thing. Just appreciate it. I still don't get your logic on how Bumblebee's not it's own continuity, but whatever. --ChangingFate 12:26, 17 October 2019 (EDT)

Hello Khajidha, just wanted to thank you for correcting my phrases in the pages I create! I am doing my best in English but it is very nice from you to take time to correct me. I should try to remember these corrections, I noticed that I often do the same mistakes! :) --SoundSky (talk) 16:03, 10 June 2020 (EDT)

I'M GETTING TIRED OF IT

1st, i'am not making any "SUPPOSITION" that there is a connection, because i'm not a speculation, fanfiction and supposition creator, since i only like to pass official information about everything that exists about transformers, and i would edit only if i found a piece of information that it's not in the article, or if i found something that's not correct about it to fix-it, and 2nd, sure Hasbro and Takara may had never said that these figures are the same characters as the yellow bulldozer and dump truck in the movie, but if the figures have the same vehicle mode as the yellow bulldozer and yellow dump truck, than it's indeed an official media that Skipjack and Payload are the bulldozer and dump truck in the movie, now three questions, 1st, why didn't you read the entire "I'm back" part from the discussion section to understand my situation?, 2nd why did you wrote something like this to offend me? and 3rd, why are you talking to me instead of Riptide talking to me in first place? anyways go ahead, continue your offense againts me, because i want you all to know that Hasbro and Takara Tomy are releasing an Studio Series Skipjack, meaning that Skipjack is the yellow bulldozer that forms the left foot, and if Hasbro and Takara Tomy release an Studio Series Payload in the future, than it means that Payload is the yellow dump truck that forms the left leg, and if this happens, it means that everything i'm saying about Skipjack and Payload being the yellow bulldozer and dump truck is true!, and one final thing, if what saying turn out to be true, DON'T TELL ME I DIN'T WARNED YOU!. so Khadija, I HATE YOU BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU SAID TO ME, AND PLEASE DON'T ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOVE, BECAUSE NOW I'M VERY VERY VERY ANNOYED! bye. --Transformersbrasil (talk) 20:36, 20 February 2020 (EST)

"Hasbro and Takara may had never said that these figures are the same characters as the yellow bulldozer and dump truck in the movie". Again, this is the relevant point. They never said that this toy represents this character in the movie. You are assuming that they are. 1) I did read it. I pointed out to you how your understanding was flawed. 2) I did not write to offend you. I wrote to try to explain the problem you were having. 3) I thought that you might listen to someone else, since you did not seem to pay attention to Riptide. As your dispute is with the general policies of this site, discussion is not limited to you and Riptide. Notice that Escargon, M Sipher, and Grum had also pointed out to you that your edits were not following policy. Finally, your anger and refusal to listen is not helping you. --Khajidha (talk) 20:49, 20 February 2020 (EST)

Reversion

Hey, I noticed you reverted my quote edit on Cosmic Rust? I don't mind; I'd just like to know the reasoning behind it so I can avoid making similar mistakes in the future :D Hellzapoppin (talk) 23:34, 14 July 2020 (EDT)

It simply isn't memorable on its own. Qotations from episodes should be as short as possible and still be effective. They should need little or no scene description. --Khajidha (talk) 11:36, 15 July 2020 (EDT)
I disagree on its memorability as my friends and I refer to it sometimes, but I will respect your wishes as someone who's been here longer than I have and duly note your criticism. Hellzapoppin (talk) 13:52, 15 July 2020 (EDT)

Mainframe reversion

Can I ask the reason for reverting my note under Mainframe? I think it's very much worth noting that his appearance on the cover of FHE FFoD VHS is oddly less bizarre in retrospect as a result of the Kingdom toy.Tjfosko (talk) 16:56, 12 May 2021 (EDT)

In the second reversion, after I edited my original note, you state there's no evidence that the Kingdom toy is meant to retcon previous fiction. I don't intend to get into a reversion war or anything, and I want this to be an actual discussion about the merits of the note, so here's the way I see it:

1) The statement that there is "no evidence" that the Kingdom toy is meant to retcon previous fiction is inaccurate. The Kingdom toy is listed on both G1 Mainframe's and Teletraan I's pages and is clearly meant to represent both of those characters/computers/concepts. I.e., it is a toy of Teletraan I as it appeared in the cartoon, and the very fact that Mainframe and Teletraan I are now the same toy is evidence. I'm a lawyer by trade, and it more or less follows the test for relevance that the Federal (and most state) Rules of Evidence espouses "Evidence is relevant if: (a) it has any tendency to make a fact more or less probable than it would be without the evidence; and (b) the fact is of consequence in determining the action." In other words, the fact that Mainframe and Teletraan I are ever the same makes it more probable that they are at other times the same.

2) Obviously, Mainframe and Teletraan I are not the same in every continuity, as there are times Mainframe appears in stories that follow the G1 cartoon in which he is clearly a separate individual (barring specific retcons). That said, I purposely qualified the note with "arguably" for that reason. Additionally, it's merely a note rather than an extreme measure like proposing the pages be merged or something. It's meant to point out something interesting, and it does not in anyway detract from the article, nor is it inaccurate information.

3) Retcons are not always explicit, anyway, and can even be unintended consequences of introducing new information. I'm not sure lack of intent (or, rather, lack of evidence of intent) is enough to say a retcon hasn't occurred.

Now, I feel that's a pretty well-reasoned justification for a short note. Can you explain what is wrong with my reasoning?Tjfosko (talk) 12:07, 13 May 2021 (EDT)
