- Esmeral is a heroic Decepticon reporter from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
Esmeral is the co-founder of DBN (Decepticon Broadcasting Network, presumably) along with Monstructor.

When Punch went undercover to report about the latest episode of "Decepticon troublemaking", Esmeral and Monstructor made him an offer to join their network, which he accepted, much to Rook's misery. Around Cybertron #8
Esmeral and DBN welcomed the positive universe Autobots to their Cybertron after the invasion of Ultra Magnus cost them their universe. Esmeral personally expressed her sympathies to Perceptor. Solar Requiem

- When asked if Esmeral was married to General Deathsaurus, Jesse Wittenrich answered that Esmeral is "too busy saving the whales of Pequod to bother with a hubby!"[1] A similar response was given at the Deviantart page for Around Cybertron #6, where Wittenrich elaborated that Deathsaurus and Esmeral "had a fling, but Deathsaurus when[sic] into the military and Esmeral went into activism. Perhaps one day their paths will reconvene, but currently neither spends much time thinking of the other."[2] This also reveals her alt-mode to be a "winged Vaal beast".
