Randy (BW)
| The name or term "Randy" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Randy (disambiguation). |
- Randy is a Maximal from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Randy (ランディー Randī) is a powerhouse of a Maximal and a dedicated one at that. He can trample an enemy to the ground and then, just to drive the point home, he'll stamp them into the dirt. He is abnormally patient and can wait silently for days without even slightly getting bored. Randy is also honest to a fault, often blurting out truths that others might not find very flattering. This might explain why he never feels at home in a group or on a team. He prefers to work as a freelance Maximal for hire, willing to aid any Supreme Commander who may need his support.

Toys
Beast Wars

- Randy (Basic Class, January 1999)
- ID number: C-34
- Accessories: "Charge Blaster" mane-gun
- Part of the first wave of Beast Wars Neo products in the Japanese Beast Wars toyline, Randy is a redeco of Beast Wars Basic Class Razorbeast, a mold that had not yet been released in Japan, despite Razorbeast being advertised in countless Japanese toy catalogs.
- Randy changes from an organic wild boar to robot mode with a single-step spring-loaded transformation, activated by pulling up on his tail. His mane can also detach to form a hand-held double-barreled blaster.
- This toy is one of the most notorious cases of Gold Plastic Syndrome, as the entire figure is built around the spring-loaded auto-transformation gimmick; held together by only a clear rubber band in the packaging—that's if the rubber band hasn't already disintegrated. So be very careful when removing from the packaging incase yours happens to be on a hair-trigger, as you could end up with small parts crumbling and flying off. We highly recommend that you either keep this one in the packaging or transform it into robot mode once and just leave it alone...also, keep it away from the edge of a shelf, in case it dives off...in fact, just don't even breathe near it...
- Alternatively, if you like to burn your money, then you can always do what this guy did with his.
- Explosive Showdown: Randy VS Crazybolt (VS pack, 1999)
- ID number: VS-34
- Accessories: "Charge Blaster" mane-gun
- Randy was also available in the "Explosive Showdown" (爆走の対決 bakusō no taiketsu) two-pack with the Predacon Crazybolt.
- Both toys were identical to their individual releases.
