Autobots, transform and roll out!

It has been suggested this article should be moved to Las Bogus.
If you agree or disagree, please discuss why on its talk page.

Reason: It's supposed to be a parody of Las Vegas

Los Bogus is a city from the cartoon portion of the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family
This city is most non-triumphant, dude!

Los Bogus is a desert resort located not far from Sherman Dam. It is composed mostly of hotel-casinos and is thus a popular tourist destination. It's also entirely dependent on the output of the dam for power.

Fiction

2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon

Once the Decepticons had mined Sherman Dam with pulsar bombs, Megatron broadcast his demands to nearby Los Bogus. The people in the casinos, including Kelly, watched Megatron's transmission on the huge television screens and assumed it was part of a show. To Megatron's dismay, both Scourge and Sky-Byte failed to detonate the explosions, provoking a tantrum from the Predacon leader. Finally, the dam was ruptured by the Decepticons, and Los Bogus was plunged into darkness. Kelly was particularly annoyed because the slot machine she was playing was about to pay out big time.

Eventually the Autobots were able to defeat the Decepticons and patch up the dam enough to restore power to Los Bogus. Unfortunately for Kelly, the slot machine still didn't pay out. Commandos

Notes

  • Los Bogus is of course based on the real-life city of Las Vegas, Nevada. And in the original Car Robots version of the series, the city is intimated to actually be Las Vegas.
