Thermo-laser blasters appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

In the early days of the war on Cybertron, Ripsnorter and Switchblade had thermo-laser blasters magnetically clamped to their thighs as they went to brutalise some Neutralists in Yuss. Unfortunately for them, the Magnificent Six attacked and they were both killed by an incendiary missile before they could even fire their guns. The Magnificent Six!
