When the Elder Gods attacked the multiverse, Isaac and Yumiko were sent to Brooklyn to deal with "genetic mutations"—piscine servants of the Elder Gods—invading the city. Due to being licked, Isaac fell under the song of the Elder Gods, and the two were cornered by the fishmen. Infestation 2 #1 The other members of CVO were able to close the Elder Gods' portal; as a result, the fishmen dissolved, saving the duo. Infestation 2 #2
