The name or term "Mirage" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Mirage (disambiguation).
Mirage is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

With his incredible talent for stealth, Mirage would be the ultimate spy. However, he would much rather be in the thick of a fight, moving silent and invisible through a melee to strike where the enemy is weakest.[1]

Fiction

Aligned novels

When Optimus Prime and the others were captured by the Quintessons, the remaining Autobots aboard the Ark contemplated their next move. Sunstreaker mentioned Mirage as part of a strike force he would assemble to rescue the big guy and their friends.

As Sideswipe flew the Autobot spaceship through the Quintesson artillery, Mirage, Sunstreaker, and the rest of Strike Force Zero dropped from the ship to reinforce their fellow Autobots, who had already broken free and engaged the Sharkticons. Retribution

  • Mirage (Cyberverse Legion, 2012)
    • Accessories: Blaster
Part of the second wave of Series 2 Cyberverse Legion Class toys, Mirage is an unchanged release of Dark of the Moon Mirage. As a redeco/retool of Revenge of the Fallen Legends Class Sideways, he transforms into an unlicensed mock Audi R8. The retool was principally to give him hands and 3mm ports capable of holding Cyberverse weapons, such as his translucent red "blaster", a sword which can sort of be used as a blaster when turned around. The "blaster", in the same colors, was carried by Cliffjumper and Ratchet, while differently-colored versions were each used by Quickblade Bumblebee and the single-release redeco of Knock Out.
The United States market release of Mirage used the template for the Transformers: Prime-based Series 2 Cyberverse Legion Class packaging style but lacked the "Prime" moniker. The multilingual European market packaging, meanwhile, retained the Prime title.
The original version of this mold was also used to make Override.
