Transformers Part One

Transformers Part One (トランスフォーマー パートワン) was an unrealised proposal for an e-HOBBY exclusive toyline. Revealed by Hayato Sakamoto at BotCon 2015 (alongside Bravemasters and Prime: Shattered Glass), the line was scrapped during the concept phase, with e-HOBBY instead ultimately producing Transformers Cloud.

Part One was intended to showcase molds that members of the TakaraTomy team considered underused by reimagining them as flagship Generation 1 characters.

Extrapolating from concept artwork, the Part One toyline may have included the following:

Autobots Optimus Prime from Revenge of the Fallen Scout Rollbar Bumblebee from Revenge of the Fallen Scout Dead End Rodimus from Revenge of the Fallen Scout Brakedown Wheeljack from Cybertron Deluxe Downshift

Decepticons Megatron from Transformers Deluxe Wreckage Shockwave from Transformers Deluxe Dreadwing Starscream from Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Thrust Soundwave (and Frenzy) from Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Stratosphere (and its Optimus Prime mini-figure)

Notes

• Cybertron Downshift may seem to be the odd one out among the selection of otherwise live-action film series molds, but his mold did see release as Big Daddy in the 2007 movie toyline.
• The name "Part One" is a pretty transparent reference to Part One Co., Ltd., e-HOBBY's parent company.
