Is the title different enough from the Autobot Ironfist to do without a disambig? --Terrocon Blot 00:52, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

We have 2 standards-- 1 is "how likely are they to actually think this is the other article?" (Nonexistent here, one is a story page, one is an article.) The other is- "How likely are they to have surfed here by mistake?"
I think it's quite likely that someone could have searched for "Iron Fist" instead of "Ironfist" and ended up here. In whichc ase, yes, ti needs a disambig.
(In this case, the distinction between the two is not ambiguious-- but it's a handy linkat the top of the page for someone who's lost, just like the link at the top of the TF:TM page directing ppl to TF 2007 if they searched on "Transformers Movie" and ended up there by mistake.) -Derik 02:00, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Good point. Heck, I can't even remember if gigantic Armada Decepticon's name is parsed as "Tidalwave" or "Tidal Wave". So makes sense for a "this page is for..." redirect. Thanks Dr D. --Terrocon Blot 04:10, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
A paranthetical disambiguation in the article's title is needed only if the two articles would have completely identical titles otherwise. However, a disambig template at the top of the page is often appropriate even if the names are slightly different (like one having a space the other lacks). --Steve-o 02:26, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
