Renegade Rhetoric
Cy-Kill considered him to be a capable warrior and a good example of how GoBots have more varied alt modes than Transformers. His main strength is in how easy it is to overlook him.
Fly Trap was part of a four-Renegade team that did battle against a diversionary force led by Leader-1. Fly Trap defeated Super Couper by ramming into him.
Fly Trap was one of several Renegades repulsed from the Guardian communication hub by Courageous. Cy-Kill vented his frustration on them, which backfired shortly thereafter when the Master Renegade made a bid for leadership. Fly Trap was one of four Renegades to go along with it, and was given the P1 Power Suit for his support. With his durability greatly enhanced, he and the others launched an attack on the Gobotron Fortress protecting Gobotron's capital, Gobotolis. The attack was initially successful, but the appearance of Courageous and the arguments over who should control the Renegade combiner resulted in their defeat. They returned to Rogue Star, only to find Cy-Kill free. Fly Trap and the other Renegades promptly surrendered, and the Master Renegade escaped with his men. Ask Vector Prime
