Deadlock finds himself invited to join the Circle of Light.
Synopsis
[edit]The Decepticon Deadlock falls out with his commanding officer and finds himself lost on an unfamiliar planet. As he approaches a large base, he encounters Star Saber, who invites him to meet the Circle of Light. Deadlock meets with the Circle's leader, Dai Atlas, who hopes to convince Deadlock to join their peaceful commune. Elsewhere on the planet, the bounty hunter Lockdown arrives, intending to bring Deadlock back to the Decepticon cause, and joins up with a group of local hunters who have an existing animosity towards the Circle of Light. The resulting battle ends in a defeat for Lockdown's side. In the aftermath, Deadlock reflects on his past and opts to renounce the Decepticon cause, instead joining the Circle and taking on the name Drift. The Circle continue on their journey to find a peaceful place to live.

- The story is based on the IDW Publishing series The Transformers: Drift. The notable change is the substitution of Wing with Star Saber, which all things considered is pretty ironic.
- Dai Atlas's name is misspelled "Dai Atlus" in the event description and the Boss Battles screen, though his card gets it right.
