Survive
- Survive is a Maximal from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

When you're a Maximal soldier under the instruction of Survive (サバイブ Sabaibu), you don't just drop and give him twenty, you drop and give him twenty-thousand. In the rain. While he kicks you in the ribs. Then you get up, thank him and ask for another. The most notorious drill instructor in the Maximal Military Academy, the mere utterance of his name is enough to send tremors of awe and terror through any new recruit who hears it. Survive firmly believes that a military unit lives and dies by the quality of its teamwork, and the best way to bond a team of misfits is by making them trudge through Hell together. So give 'em Hell is exactly what Survive does. And he's very good at it.
Naturally, Survive despises Big Convoy, the self-proclaimed "One-Man Army" who eschews teamwork and camaraderie. The two don't get along in the slightest and Survive's animosity toward the solitary Supreme Commander often extends to Big Convoy's recruits, whom he views as the weak result of poor leadership and discipline.
Basically, he's robot bear Sgt. Slaughter. His drone partner in combat is True One.

Alongside Tasmania Kid and Cohrada, Survive came with Big Convoy to investigate Shokaract's tower after various Angolmois-related murders. When Shokaract himself soon emerged from the tower and attacked them, Survive fought back, but was quickly killed along with his teammates. The Ascending #3
Fortunately, the Pack managed to use the magic of time travel to interrupt Shokaract before Survive and the others met their end at his hands (except Tasmania Kid, who died regardless). In this new timeline, Big Convoy's team traveled to the Pack's crashed starship and had the situation explained to them. With the Pack and several other Maximals and Predacons on their side, Survive and the others ultimately managed to foil Shokaract's plans. The Ascending #4
Beast Wars: Uprising

Survive was a battle strategist associated with Lio Convoy's Resistance. He organized the third strike on Fortress Maximus, working on a need-to-know basis with Bighorn and Cybershark on using Buzzclaw as their stalking horse to locate Maximus's control chamber. Once Buzzclaw (the obvious choice for Maximus's telepathy to manipulate) was under the influence, a prepared neural spike killed him and sent feedback into Fortress Maximus's cyberdroids, incapacitating the Builder so the Resistance could destroy him. Head Games
Survive remained a general in the Resistance, and led the strike on Fort Myvh to capture the Yuss Naval Batteries on the way to Iacon. His team, the Fighting Quasars, worked with Lio Convoy to secure Goldbug's control chamber as well. At the High Pavilion of Iacon, he helped coordinate the siege on the Builder Assembly. As the Vehicon Apocalypse began, Survive and Direwolf maintained troop discipline and commanding the rear guard during their arrival. Derailment

Beast Wars

- Part of the fourth wave of Beast Wars Neo products in the Japanese Beast Wars toyline, Survive is a redeco of Beast Wars Mega Class Polar Claw, transforming into a black bear. Rearing him up on his hind legs in beast mode exposes a pair of nasty-looking fangs.
- In robot mode, his beast mode forelegs end up on the back of his shoulders and can be flipped forward to become shoulder-mounted weapons. Flicking a switch on his left leg, activates his spring-loaded "Honey Claw" weapon, while flicking a switch on his right launches his bat-partner, True One, who can also be used as a hand-held blaster. In typical Japanese Transformers series fashion, the animators of the cartoon repurposed the screw holes on Survive's shoulders as missile launchers.
- Being a redeco of Polar Claw, Survive's robot head has a face on both sides; a normal robot mode one and a "mutant" face, which is now used as a battle mask for the Assault Commander.[1]
- This mold was also used to make Grizzly-1/Barbearian.

- Roaring Showdown: Survive VS Killer Punch (Mega Class, 2000)

- Survive was also available in the "Roaring Showdown" (絶叫の対決 zekkyō no taiketsu) two-pack with the Predacon Killer Punch.
- Both toys are identical to their individual releases.
