Laserbeak was first made available in Hasbro markets in a two-pack with Frenzy, and was packaged with two chromed silver laser cannons (as identified in his instructions and Tech Specs bio) that are frankly indistinguishable from Buzzsaw's mortar cannons.
This mold was redecoed to make Buzzsaw, Garboil, and Sundor, and would be reissued many, many times; see Laserbeak (G1)/toys for more details.
