Turns out he was in the crawlspace this whole time.

Jason Jansen (born Jason William Jankowski October 12, 1975) is an American actor. Since "Jankowski" was considered potentially too ethnic for the time, his mother's maiden name was used as his screen name. In addition to playing Tommy Kennedy at the age of twelve, he did numerous commercials, voice overs, appearances in print advertisements, and played "Roger" in a fourth season episode of Highway to Heaven called "The Whole Nine Yards."

As of 2013, Jankowski worked for ABC Ad Sales in New York City, listened to Pearl Jam, and liked watching professional football and baseball.

Notes

[edit]
  • The Tommy Kennedy segments have been in rights limbo and not available for DVD inclusion precisely because nobody knows what the heck happened to Jason Jansen, where he is, or how to contact him. Of course, the matter hasn't been helped by the fact the fandom thought he was Jason Janson for years....
  • Jansen resurfaced in early 2013, doing an interview where it turns out he grew up and got a job and basically is just an ordinary dude. This is actually quite an impressive accomplishment for someone who did any amount of professional acting as a child.
  • Jason Jansen's acting credits beyond Transformers are sparse. However, he appeared in the Highway to Heaven episode called "The Whole Nine Yards," (viewable on YouTube) and in a Frosted Mini Wheats commercial as the inner child of a cereal-hungry lumberjack (also viewable on YouTube).
