Ratchet (Cyberverse)
| The name or term "Ratchet" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Ratchet (disambiguation). |
- Ratchet is an Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Very dedicated and loyal to the Autobot cause, Ratchet can always be seen patching up his fellow Autobots after battles, and his medical skills make him a very desirable medical officer. However, he can also be so dedicated to caring for others that he ends up neglecting to care for his own well-being; often even needing to be reminded of this by his comrades.

Ratchet was present at Maccadam's when the Iacon City Cube team won. The Citizen However, Ratchet had to rush out of the bar due to a medical emergency, not even having time to say hello to Bumblebee. Maccadam's Ratchet was present during Megatron's speech to the masses when he unveiled his Decepticons. Megatron Is My Hero
During the war, Ratchet was a part of a retrieval group sent to extract Bumblebee from what was left of a crashed Energon Tanker. Shadowstriker Ratchet later kept Alpha Trion asleep but alive, saw Optimus rise to Prime, and was fetched by Wheeljack to tend to Prowl. Matrix of Leadership
Ratchet was among the Autobots who made up the crew of the Ark during their search for the AllSpark. The Journey When Windblade found Bumblebee on Earth speaking through beeps and radio blurbs, she remarked that she had thought Ratchet fixed his voice box. Fractured
In a false memory of Shockwave's making, Ratchet celebrated when the AllSpark was stated to be found. However, the mood was soon dropped when Bumblebee sabotaged the engines and paralyzed Wheeljack, ejecting him to keep his cover. Unfortunately, Ratchet caught him in the act, and he watched as Bee ran out hailing Megatron. Sabotage
Ratchet's stasis pod was seen on the Ark Awaken Sleeping Giants, and he awoke to a Decepticon attack. Later on, he finally repaired Bee's voicebox this time. Sea of Tranquility Examining Bumblebee after the moon battle, he passed off his "moon creature" sighting as a hallucination and later was victim to an overcharged Grimlock. The Visitor
Ratchet was stowing away some Energon canisters and ended up dropping a bunch after being surprised by Cheetor. He sent the cat-bot to try helping Wheeljack, though it began a loop ending with Prowl sending Cheetor back to him. The cat-bot later swiped an Energon canister from him as a part of Bee's scout lessons, which was later used to lure the Scraplets to the Seekers. He later saw Wheeljack take a frozen Scraplet to his lab. Spotted
When Optimus Prime was carried back aboard the Ark after using the Matrix of Leadership to defeat Starscream, Ratchet correctly surmised that the Autobot leader was not waking up because of something to do with the talisman, as there was physically nothing wrong with him. Escape From Earth
During a party thrown to celebrate their successful recovery of the AllSpark and flight to Cybertron, Ratchet made an Autobot soldier ill with a gruesome story until Grimlock suggested he lighten up a bit. Ratchet was one of the victims of Wheeljack's malfunctioning AllSpark energy emitter badges that flooded his systems with so much energy he went berserk, attacking the other Autobots. When the situation was resolved he, along with the others, were left dispirited until Optimus made a heroic sacrifice and danced, leading to the lightening of the mood and a reinvigorated party. Party Down
Ratchet was one of the Autobots on the bridge, cheering as the Ark neared Cybertron. The Crossroads As the Ark entered Cybertron's atmosphere, Ratchet eagerly awaited to return home. Battle For Cybertron I However, along with the rest of the crew, he bailed out of the ship when Optimus suspected a Decepticon trap. He took part in the fight with the amassed Decepticon forces, during which he protected himself and an injured Autobot soldier from Clobber using his force field. Despite getting attacked by Soundwave's sonic attack, he and his patient were saved by the timely arrival of Grimlock. Battle For Cybertron II

Cyberverse

- Autobot Ratchet (Scout Class, 2019, 2021)
- Action Attack: "Grapple Grab"
- Scout Class Autobot Ratchet transforms from robot into a vehicle-with-his-torso-sticking-out, officially called a "transformational mode". He features a "Grapple Grab" crane-arm gimmick, which is triggered on his right leg in vehicle mode. Interestingly, the vehicle grill and headlights are based directly on the Animated incarnation of Ratchet rather than the vehicle mode of this Ratchet.
- Ratchet has seen two releases: First in 2019 in the original Cyberverse packaging design, and then again in late 2021 in the then-current Dinobots Unite subline imprint packaging refresh. Another release in the Power of the Spark packaging style was also intended for late 2019/early 2020, but it appears the wave that version was supposed to ship in never made it to retail anywhere in the world.

- Autobot Ratchet & Blizzard Breaker (Battle Class, 2019)
- Spark Armor: Blizzard Breaker
- Takara Name: Blizzard Rescue Ratchet
- Takara Release Date: November 9, 2019
- Takara ID Number: TCV-20
- Part of the second wave of "Battle Class" Spark Armor figures, Cyberverse Battle Class Ratchet is a downsized figure, transforming into a Generation-1-inspired ambulance while being roughly the size of previous Scout/Legends/Basic class figures. (But larger than contemporary Cyberverse Scout Class figures. Confused yet?) He comes with the "Blizzard Breaker" snowmobile that splits apart into his battle armor.
- Battle Class Ratchet was initially revealed in a UK Argos catalog before any announcement from Hasbro. In November 2019, Ratchet is released as one of TakaraTomy Mall's Cyberverse "Christmas Set" offers along with Shockwave.

- Autobot Ratchet (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2020)
- Series: 3
- ID code: F2
- Part of the third Series of Cyberverse Tiny Turbo Changers, this version of Ratchet is a 1.5-inch tall soft-plastic figure that transforms into an ambulance in a few short steps. He manages to wear approximately 90% of his ambulance mode on his arms, making what little posability he has even more limited.
- Currently, Series 3 has not been spotted in the US, appearing only in Canada, Germany, Norway and Taiwan.
- This mold was also used to make Ironhide.

- Autobot Ratchet (One-Step Changer, 2020)
- Action Attack: "Mega Chop"
- This Autobot Ratchet reuses the engineering from Robots in Disguise One-Step Changer Soundwave and transforms in one step from robot into a Cybertronian ambulance, featuring spheroid hover-wheels and a large backpack. He features a "Mega Chop" gimmick, with large spring-loaded blades unfurling from his forearms.
- He has (unpainted) crosses sculpted into his shoulders, which is notable since Ratchet now tends to have heartbeat lines on his shoulders instead of red crosses since you can't, you know, legally do that anymore.

- Ratchet (Happy Meal Toy, 2021)
- Released only in Singapore in January 2021, Ratchet is a non-transforming figure with limited articulation. The chest of the figure has a panel with a lenticular image sticker on it which changes angle when the left arm is moved. Moving the panel causes the image on his chest to change.
Notes

- As with many of the Cyberverse main cast, Ratchet uses an evergreen design (at right) inspired by his Generation 1 counterpart, However, the finalized Cyberverse rendition (at top) also takes inspiration from the "Aligned" incarnation of Ratchet.
- Mae Catt refused to state whether Ratchet finished medical school or not.[1]
