Image where? Image there!

ImageWear is an American eyewear manufacturer. A subsidy of Walman Optical, it produces fashion eyeglasses and sunglasses. Currently they have licensed from Hasbro to manufacture children's eyewear based on Transformers, My Little Pony, and Nerf brands.

Eyewear

Eyeglasses

Their Transformers eyeglasses come in 12 styles with two colors per style. They are advertised to feature "Tech-inspired details" and the Autobot insignia as a "Badge of Honor". [1]. Apparently Decepticons don't need glasses.

Sunglasses

In July of 2021 ImageWear had a limited promotion giving a free pair of youth sunglasses with purchase of any Transformers eyewear. [2]

Notes

  • Two of the eyeglass style appear to be named after planets that have appeared in Transformers; Dromedon and Nebulos.
    • A third is named Audurian, likely intended to be a reference to the planet Arduria.
  • One tweet done by ImageWear showing information on the Transformers franchise featured art of a rather...relaxed looking Optimus Prime. [3] This very quickly went on to be memed on social media.
