According to the NTFA clip of Animated, it appears that Sentinel Prime has been reduced to but an officer in the Autobot army. It is unconfirmed whether he was at one time an Allspark/Matrix bearer (according to the same clip, the only Allspark/Matrix bearer in the Animated universe has been Ratchet... wait... what?!).
