I only saw this now, just after leaving the Discord server to try and iron out the apparent confusion and just causing more. Apology means a lot, thank you. From the conversations I had with a few other people there, it does seem like "hey I'm here as a newly registered account" set off alarm bells and in that context "You guys are nuts" comes across as hostile, regardless of how I meant it to be read. I'm a strong believer in "LURK MOAR" and since I've been lurking the Wiki since 2007 (hence the username!), thought that would be enough, but still ended up oblivious to any recent actions putting folks in a state of high alert. Careless on my part and I guess my comeuppance is that it's clearly undermined whatever pespective it was I wanted to share. --NOISEMAZE (talk) 15:15, 21 March 2022 (EDT)
