Laceface is a member of the Jock Squad from BotBots.
*Insert inspirational football movie speech here*

While they are the quarterback of the Jock Squad, Laceface also knows how to create a winning play. They know who needs to go where, what they need to do, and when they should go there. Unfortunately, the rest of their team doesn't pay attention, so their carefully laid out plans don't end up working as they'd hope.

Toys

BotBots

  • Sugar Shocks (5-pack, 2018)
    • Series: 1
    • Level: 2 Star
Part of the first Series of BotBots, Laceface is a 1-inch tall robot who turns into a football and back!
They were available in one of the "Sugar Shocks" themed 5-packs, along with Point Dexter, Sprinkleberry D'uhnut, Unilla Icequeencone, and Lost Bot Game Over.
This mold was also used to make Goldface and Toughdown.
This pack is a "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots.

  • Jock Squad (8-pack, 2018)
    • Series: 1
    • Level: 2 Star
Laceface was also available in two different "Jock Squad" 8-packs.
The first pack comes with them, Kidd Klobber, Nail Byter, Poo Sham, Skillz Punk, Sticky McGee, Unilla Icequeencone, and Lost Bot Burgertron.
The second pack comes with them, Fit Ness Monster, Fottle Barts, Goob Toob, Grit Sandwood, Nrjeez, Point Dexter, and Lost Bot Clogstopper.
The second pack listed here is a possible "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots. Grit Sandwood is the only BotBot needed in that pack, but he also appears in another Jock Squad pack where he is also the only BotBot needed in that pack. Yeah it means a bunch of redundant Bots either way, sorry!

  • Arcade Renegades Surprise (16-pack, 2019)
    • Series: 3
    • Level: 2 Star
Laceface was also inexplicably available in three of the six iterations of the "Arcade Renegades Surprise" 16-pack, found only in one of the eight blindpacked bubbles on the package. The ID code for each arrangement is printed on the back, just to the right of the team art next to Sweet Cheat (appropriate!).
They come in these blindpacked arrangements:
1: 24K-Bit, Laceface, S'up Dawg, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Spud Muffin, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart
4: The Fizz, Hawt Diggity, Laceface, Pixelfin, S'up Dawg, Shredder Jack, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Tangry Tart
5: Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, Laceface, Papa Click, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart

Notes

  • Laceface is the "example" character used for the "2 MODES" demonstration illustration on the Jock Squad's packaging.
  • Laceface appears as a prop on the exercise equipment rack at the Decepticon base in the Transformers Stop Motion Netflix Anime shorts "Virtually Reality" and "The Bot Dance Off".
  • Like several characters in the BotBots cartoon, Laceface's gender is different from the toy's original bio from Hasbro's website. In Laceface's case, the original toy bio uses masculine pronouns, while the cartoon depicts the character as female.
