Fottle Barts

Fottle Barts is a member of the Greaser Gang from BotBots.
The final culmination of 35 years of Transformers fiction. It's all downhill from here, baby.

Ever the sidekick, Fottle Barts would probably be a well-liked member of the Greaser Gang, if not for their, uh, "condition," which results in them constantly passing gas, tooting, farting, trumping, and doing every other word you can think of relating to the expulsion of, uh, internal gases.

To make matters worse, Fottle Barts also happens to be very self-conscious about their internal problems, so it's best not to bring it up when they're around. Whether the noxious stuff is coming out of their mouth, or from... somewhere else... the best you can hope for is to just hold your nose and back away slowly when they're about to blow...

Happy Christmas from Transformers!!!

[edit]

Disguised in his ketchup bottle mode, Fottle Barts was on the table the Autobots set for Christmas dinner. Eventually the hidden BotBots caused a food fight between the Autobots and Decepticons to break out. During the food fight Hawt Diggity grabbed Fottle Barts and used him to squirt ketchup all over Chromia. He later transformed with the other Botbots as they revealed themselves, putting an end to the food fight, then posed with everyone present for a holiday photo. Happy Christmas from Transformers!!!

When a mysterious Energon cloud filled the mall, Fottle Barts was brought to life in the food court. Lone Bot and Carb A member of the Hunger Hubs, Fottle Barts joined her squad when they put on a production of I, Cheeseburger and went butter skating on a hot grill, doing routine with Angry Cheese. On the Bot Prom Dance Floor Later she joined them sliding down an air vent, riding in Angry Cheese's lap. The Goldrush Games - Part the Second

the next night Fottle Barts joined in a raucous party. After she accidentally caused Angry Cheese to float away on a helium balloon, she was called to rescue Ulf the Orange from a garbage bin where she'd been deposited by the night security guard Dave. She used her pressurized processed paste to rocket herself and Spud Muffin to the top of the bin, where Spud was able to pull her free. Later that evening, she and every other BotBot in the mall witnessed the Hubs's wayward leader Burgertron break The Sacred Rule of the Mall, and like the others, shunned him and the Lost Bots. Mall Than Meets the Eye

Like most BotBots, Fottle Barts enjoyed watching a good BotVid. (Never) Be Yourself When the Hunger Hubs put on a revival of their hit play "I, Cheeseburger" (copyright Spud Muffin do not steal), Fottle Barts helped provide the play with special effects during the duel scene, spattering the fallen Angry Cheese with "blood". On the night of the performance, when a clash between principle actor Brock O'Lonely and a jealous Burgertron literally brought the house down, Fottle helped the audience realize which one was playing the "real" TronBurger by squirting the collapsed Brock with ketchup. I, Cheeseburger

Fottle was in the food court when it was attacked by a bird that had gotten into the mall, and witnessed the Lost Bots driving it away while pretending to be wizards and vampires and stuff. Weird. Live and Let LARP Naturally, as a member of the Hunger Hubs, she attended Bot Prom, the most important party of the year (so far). However, the evening was cut short when Dave broke free of the trap the Lost Bots had set up to keep him occupied and sleepy for the duration of the prom. On the Bot Prom Dance Floor This proved to be disappointing for her on a couple of levels, as by this point she had begun to notice that "cute" Lost Bot Clogstopper. Admitting this to Ulf left her friend a bit concerned for Fottle's taste in Bots. The Ruckus Rally

When Burgertron stood accused of getting Sprinkleberry D'uhnut devoured by Dave, Fottle stood as a character witness for the prosecution, questioning the truth of Burgertron's pickles. This was somehow damning. The BotBots are strange, y'all. When Burgertron was found innocent following the discovery that Sprinkleberry was still very much alive, Fottle joined in the post-trial party. Crime and Bun-ishment She attended the mall meeting to discuss what to do about the encroaching Spector Halloween store, a meeting that ultimately went nowhere. The next night, she and several other BotBots found that the spooky storefront was gone, with the Lost Bots claiming to have rid the mall of the menace... but something else had taken its place that was terrifying in its own right. Spirit of Halloween When Snorg went nuts following an overload of negative vibes from Bonz-Eye's angry stress-relieving karaoke, Fottle found herself running for her life from the crazed karaoke-bot and the mall security scootmobile he'd commandeered. Rage Against the Karaoke Machine

One day, Clogstopper ended up being bought by an unaware human, a fate that had befallen several other BotBots, but unlike the others, Clogstopper actually came back! The humans had returned him for being "defective," a word Fottle had never heard. Batsby immediately decided this meant Clogstopper had some super-powerful anti-human qualities, and Fottle asked Clogstopper to show them all how to be defective as well! Fottle took part in his mud-yoga class in one of the mall's planters, and reassured an increasingly-uncertain Ulf that emulating Clogstopper was the best way to be "defective" and protect them from being bought by humans. She ended up face-down in the mud when an overambitious Kikmee tried to impress the others by yoga-ing even harder and ended up knocking everyone over. Eventually, Clogstopper was crowned King of the BotBots, and Fottle kneeled in respect to their new ruler. The rule proved short-lived, but not short-lived enough when Clogstopper immediately had everyone sit through his multi-hour one-Bot puppet show To Unclog One's Heart, and everyone finally realized that this was all very dumb and revoked his crown. Scanned Out

Fottle attended the nightly beach-blast parties the BotBots had begun throwing. When the Lost Bots and Science Alliance arrived to warn the Bots about the straining air conditioner due to the sand they kept shoveling into the vents each night, none of the partygoers took the dire message well. That is, until the Science Alliance tried again in the form of a seriously tight rock-rap number. That got everyone on to path of environmentally responsible party cleanup! The Science Alliance

When Dave was fired for grosser-than-usual negligence, Fottle joined the others in partying harder than they ever had before, believing themselves free from human intrusion. However, Dave was replaced by a trio of security bots that proved far more dangerous to the BotBots than Dave ever was. As each squad tried (and failed) to stop the machines, Fottle and Angry Cheese were ready with Spud Muffin's trap: a ceiling-mounted battering ram made up of shopping carts. When the security bots came through their section of the mall, the pair untied the locking rope, which sent the ram hurtling and crashing into the bots, knocking them into the fountain. This victory was incredibly short, as the assault led the bots to transform into "defense mode", and become much more aggressive, sending the BotBots panicking. Fortunately, they were all saved by the most unlikely of heroes: Dave. Shopping Brawl

Fottle joined in Spud Muffin's "funnest party ever", a party so rolicking that it summoned "The Gamesmaster", a "legendary" BotBot who decreed the bots worthy of participating in the Goldrush Games to determine the best squad in the mall. The Hunger Hubs naturally enlisted, and for some reason started ranked first of the eight squads at the start. Fottle took part in the final game of the qualifying round, the Dumpster Dive Relay, tackling the first half before tagging in Spud Muffin. Ultimately the event would end in a tie between the Hunger Hubs and the Lost Bots. The Goldrush Games - Part the First Following the event, Spud pulled Burgertron aside to ask him to re-join the Hunger Hubs. He also brought the other members of the squad in to further convince their former leader to return... and it worked. With Burgertron back in the Hubs, the events continued, Fottle joining Spud Muffin in the Curling With Sardines event, and by the final event the Hubs and Lost Bots were tied for first place. Fottle Barts joined the others in the Obstacle Course relay race, taking the pasta baton from Spud Muffin. This put her in direct competition with Clogstopper, who asked her if she wanted to check out his used ear-swab collection after the Games, an offer she simply couldn't refuse, and the pair passed their batons to the next Bots in the series. When Spud Muffin pushed Burgertron and Dimlit down to win the race himself, Fottle and the other Hunger Hubs were less than pleased with his unsportsbotlike behavior, as the two squads had been increasingly getting along over the course of the games. They got even less pleased with him when Burgertron revealed Spud's deception: the "Gamesmaster" was just a reluctant Brock O'Lonely in a robot suit, and the Games were rigged, all an excuse to get the Lost Bots —and Burgertron specifically— banned to the Dark Side of the Mall for failing to take first place. Soon Spud found himself banished to the Dark Side, having both revealed just how often he'd tried to frame Burgertron and by getting seen by Dave, breaking The Sacred Rule of the Mall himself. With Spud gone, the Hunger Hubs asked Burgertron to come back, but in the end, Burgertron stayed with the Lost Bots, who were now recognized as an official squad, and everyone partied partied partied. S'up Dawg made a perfect mustard cup landing, while Shredder Jack did a bellyflop, destroying the ketchup cup he landed in. Fottle Barts gave both dives a 10. Official Digital Commercial

Notes

[edit]
  • Yes, this is their real bio.
  • Their name is a spoonerism of the term "bottle farts", a term used to describe the fart-like noise that some nearly empty bottles make when squeezed.
  • Fottle Barts and Must Turd were initially envisioned as siblings.<ref>Aaron Gray's concept art - at ArtStation</ref>
  • Like several characters in the Botbots cartoon, Fottle Barts's gender is different from the toy's original bio from Hasbro's website. In Fottle Barts's case, the original toy bio uses masculine pronouns, while the cartoon depicts the character as female.
