Is there a need for a page on BotBots as a race of transformer? Indridcold13 (talk) 05:46, 27 March 2022 (EDT)

You know, I've kinda wondered this myself, especially given the amount of times I've seen "BotBots" (in the species context) ending up getting linked to the BotBots franchise article (this article) because it's all we have right now. I can't think of a specific example off the top of my head, but with the amount of edits I've done to a ton of BotBot-related articles over the past day and a bit, I've seen several links like that. I definitely think there is enough of a reason for an article, but I'd be interested what others might have to say on the topic. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 07:11, 27 March 2022 (EDT)
My inclination would be to rework the existing AllSpark Mutation page into a broader "energon mutation" page, that covers the bots from TF07 and ROTF, the bots from that Bee Movie deleted scene, and BotBots. While the details obviously differ between continuities, there's a consistent base concept of "energon turning inanimate objects into mischievous Transformers" - we've taken a similar approach with articles like unspace that cover a concept that's basically the same idea but has different names/details across continuities. (For reference, ROTF explicitly names the energy radiated by the AllSpark as energon, so IMO it's not a stretch at all grouping those bots into this.) Jalaguy (talk) 09:58, 27 March 2022 (EDT)
