Notes
- In Fun Publications' stories, Ironhide's body is a black "virtual redeco" of his Generation 1 counterpart's Universe Deluxe Class body. The black coloration could be considered both a nod to the Diaclone coloration of the original Ironhide mold, and to the 2007 live-action movie Ironhide. Both had been recently homaged by Encore Ironhide Protect Black. (Much later, said Diaclone toy would inspire the Transformers character DK-2 Guard.)
- In IDW Publishing's comic series, Ironhide appears as a "virtual redeco" of the Earthrise Deluxe Class Ironhide toy. If you are wondering, the coloration does not match up with the Generations Selects Guard toy, though said toy does come somewhat close.
