if the logic behind the reverts is ironclad first body only, then why isn't the Fallen using the Dreamwave body? Or Movie Hound? The obnoxious close up in the gag strip is absolutely outweighed by the IDW appearances, like other pages have done. And the Flamewar argument was decided because her original body had actual substantial roles in fiction, the same thing cannot be at all said for Metro here. His appearance in IDW's stuff has him being an offline robot that's only brought online to be a servant; more substantial of an appearance, perhaps, but just about as substantial as the gag strip appearance. In any case, I don't disagree that the mainpic rule is largely arbitrary, but I remember specifically at the time that it was argued on Flamewar's page that IDW comics were different from the likes of animation and film and that they weren't more substantial, and that was ultimately the winning choice. I agree with Jenny, personally, but don't have a great argument beyond what she's said. I think it's almost certain we'll have full-body Metrotitan-coloured panels galore in the next miniseries, which will make the first-body rule more specious in this case. Also...it is just straight up Guido Guidi drawing a G1 Metroplex and it being colored as Metrotitan. Which we have main pics for on Metrotitan's page. We don't have one now of the unique original colors for SG Metroplex. Escargon (talk) 19:33, 6 June 2022 (EDT)
