• Hojoni is clearly a fictionalized version of the famous movie monster Godzilla.
• Hojoni probably originates as a reference to the Hōjō samurai clan whose mon (emblem) is known as 'The Three Dragonscales.' This would make a literal translation of 'Hojoni' Demon of the Northern Light.
