Basso Profoundo is an alien from the Cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Basso Profundo is the leader of Eurhythma and, along with Allegra and Zebop Skandana, provides a third of the harmony used in the harmonic weapon that protects Eurhythma. Basso has a hostile relationship with Allegra, and dislikes her style of music.

In Allegra's defense, Basso is a bit of a jerk. Carnage in C-Minor
