Takehito Koyasu (子安武人 Koyasu Takehito, born May 5, 1967) is an incredibly prolific Japanese voice actor, and the creator of the hilariously awful anime Knight Hunters (Weiss Kreuz).

He's well known for voicing 7-Changer in Legendary Brave Da Garn, Kai Hirose in in Brave Command Dagwon, Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the titular hero of Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo, Excalibur in Soul Eater, Lord Il Palazzo in Excel Saga, Kululu in Keroro Gunsō, Kuzan in One Piece, numerous roles throughout the long-running Gundam franchise, Pandora in Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duel Monsters, Kenshiro in New Fist Of The North Star, young Father Balder in Bayonetta 2, Zato-1/Eddie in Guilty Gear, Shinsuke Takasugi in Gintama, Faust VII in Shaman King, Roswaal L. Mathers in Re:ZERO, Rezo the Red Priest in The Slayers, and the ever-popular Deadpool in Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers.

In the world of dubbing, he has played Fred Jones in the live-action Scooby-Doo films, Prince Blueblood in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and The Joker in both the DCEU and The LEGO Batman Movie.

He is also part of the voice actor quartet "Weiß" with his fellow Weiß Kreuz voice castmates Shinichirō Miki, Tomokazu Seki and Hiro Yuki.

  • According to the Anime News Network, as of December 2008, Koyasu is the most prolific voice actor in Japan with roles in 365 anime series.
  • Takehito Koyasu is often dubbed by English speaking voice actors like Patrick Seitz and Troy Baker, but so far none of them have dubbed the same Transformers role.
