A printing error in the original Marvel US release of the story results in half of Megatron's face from the upper panel appearing as a ghostly image across the gutter and the narration caption in the bottom panel. The UK printing did not have the error, but Titan's "Primal Scream" collection featured the error again, as did the reprint from IDW's Transformers: Magazine #4. IDW then fixed the error on their own for their Classics Vol. 5 collection, but did not referencing the UK printing, as evidenced by the use of an ellipsis instead of a dash, and a slightly incomplete "e".
