Documentation for the template, named {{toydesigner}}, can be found here.
One designer known - G1 Galvatron

- Galvatron (Decepticon, 1986/1987)
- Takara ID number: D-62
- Accessories: Laser Rifle, Particle Cannon, Particle Cannon connector
- Known designers: Hideaki Yoke
- The Transformers Galvatron transforms into a Cybertronic treaded field artillery unit with an alternate hand-held gun mode.
- Galvatron, like the other new characters created for The Transformers: The Movie, was designed for animation first, and his toy was based on these early designs. However, as with the other characters, his animation model underwent further modifications before being finalized. This is particularly noticeable with Galvatron; his toy is in a largely gray color scheme, but his most prominent media appearances in the movie and animated series feature him decked out in a regal shade of purple. His outdated character model and colors would live on over in the Marvel Comics continuity – including a particularly toyetic example in his debut issue – as well as other ancillary media produced to advertise the toy.
- Using a 9-volt battery, he features a light-up barrel in cannon or gun mode, light-up eyes in robot mode, and three different electronic warbly noises in all of his modes. Galvatron is notable as one of the most well-articulated toys in the Generation 1 line, with ratcheting shoulders and hips, as well as swivel waist, elbows, mid-biceps, knees, and ankle joints. He was also armed with a small, black laser rifle. In Japan, he was released as part of the Scramble City sub-line.
Both designers known - Legacy Spindle

- Comic Universe Impactor & Spindle (2-pack, 2022)
- Accessories: Tail-weapon
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro), Shogo Hasui (TakaraTomy)
- Part of the Legacy Wreck N' Rule Collection, Spindle is a heavy retooling of War for Cybertron: Kingdom Deluxe Class Paleotrex, transforming into an (inaccurate) Spinosaurus skeleton in 28 steps. Aside from the obvious Spinosaurus changes, Spindle has a new head and chest piece. Her deco is made to match her pack-in partner "Comic Universe Impactor".
- As a Fossilizer, Spindle can split into weapons and armor compatible with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System for use by other War for Cybertron Trilogy figures (or any figure with 5 mm post compatibility). Notably, Spindle's new tooling is pointedly designed with an eye towards creating a Fossilizer combination homaging the original dino-combiner, Grimstone.[1] Due to having tiny feet and a very oddly proportioned body in robot mode, the figure can be difficult to pose without it falling over, not helped by the fact that her "ankle" tilts are actually positioned just below her knees. Some copies of this figure have also been reported to have very loose joints connecting the dinosaur claws to her arms, to the point where rotating them slightly can cause them to pop out of the joint.
- All of the packs in the Wreck N' Rule Collection contain a piece of a buildable cardboard Wrecker hammer; Spindle and Impactor came with the main body of the hammer. The inner boxes are also designed to be stacked together to form a display mural.
- In the United States, Spindle was only available in the Amazon Wreck N' Rule Collection; this two-pack was the first set revealed, on May 12, 2022. Despite being originally slated for a November release, this pack was began shipping out in late July 2022, after the three single-packs that had been revealed later.
Most of design team known - Legacy TM2 Megatron

- Transmetal II Megatron (Leader Class, 2022)
- Accessories: Fire blast effect
- Known designers: Sam Smith (Hasbro), Takio Ejima (TakaraTomy), Lenny Panzica (initial concept), Emiliano Santalucia (concept artist), Tony Colella (sculpter)
- The only new figure in the third wave of Legacy Leader Class figures, Transmetal II Megatron is a heavily cartoon-accurate version of his Transmetal II design (save for the face sculpt). Transforming into his dragon form in 33 steps, Megatron comes with a fire blast accessory, which can peg into a 5mm port inside of his dragon's head's mouth.
- For some bizarre reason, his box labels him with the Transformers: Prime Predacon symbol, rather than the standard Beast Wars version. Neither of these symbols appear on the figure.
