Comperian

Comperion is an Autobot combiner in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Comperion is an Autobot Scramble City-type combiner composed of Transformers from different subgroups. It first appeared in the campaign The Decisive Battle of Scrambles (Scramble Dai Kessen), in 1987.

Comperion is composed of:

• Technobot
  • Scattershot (torso)
  • Lightspeed (teft foot)
• Aerialbot
  • Skydive (right arm)
  • Air Raid (right foot)
• Protectobot
  • Blades (left arm)

This was the only combiner some of us had growing up, and we liked it that way!

There hasn't been an official release of Comperion, but he can be created with the appropriate toys from the Technobots, Aerialbots, and Protectobots.

Trivia

• The name "Comperion" apparently derives from "Computicon + Superion". ("Deuterion" would have been cooler, and would have gotten a syllable from Defensor in there, but did they ask us? Nooo . . .)
• Those members of the Technobots, Aerialbots, and Protectobots who aren't part of Comperion are nevertheless pleased to see their various teammates working so well together.
