Please use the Preview button when editing pages, so the "Recent Changes" and "History" pages don't get filled up with multiple edits of the same page. Thanks! -- Repowers 04:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Re:Images

Hi, I don't know how you ignored the wiki software's warning about recommended file sizes four times in a row, but we prefer to use jpgs on most images to save on server space and file download times. Also, we generally don't upload each picture of a toy individually, one must use editing software to combine the pictures into one image to save on space and preserve layout. Finally, as these images belong to Hasbro and/or Takara, one must enter information about what the file is and copyright information. Check what other people are doing and follow their lead. Thanks. --FFN 09:36, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm in the process of re-uploading some of your images as jpegs, so I do thank you for providing the Wiki with the character art for the characters. --FFN 10:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Howdy FFN

Sorry for mucking things up. I'm new to editing on Wiki so I'm not surprised I stuffed somethings up. I'll keep my upload size down and convert to jpeg from now on. What I'm not sure on is how to enter the copyright information on the image. Adding the caption is easy enough but I'm not sure how to add the notes to the actual image file. I have box-art for almost the entire Cybertron line so I'll add them in time. Cheers

Please don't upload the art for characters that already have a sufficient main image. Override, for example, already has plenty of images to her name. Focus on those without main images. Interrobang 23:53, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm still learning the ropes myself, but how to enter copyright information for Hasbro art isn't tricky. Pick any obvious piece of copyrighted art from a character page—say, this one. Now click on the "edit" button at the top. You'll see something like this:
<text describing image>
{{hastak}}
Copyright Hasbro <year>
The "{{hastak}}" portion is a call to the Hasbro/TakaraTomy copyright template, which will fill in all the copyright boilerplate you need automatically. You just have to be sure you put in a coherent description and the correct copyright/trademark year.--Apcog 00:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
