Magic: The Gathering is a trading card game by Wizards of the Coast. It has on occasions included characters from the Transformers franchise, as well as other Hasbro franchises such as Nerf and My Little Pony.

Me Grimlock tribal commander!

Alongside other Hasbro related crossover cards, such as Nerf War and Sword of Dungeons and Dragons, Grimlock was included. A double-faced card that was "Silver Border" (not legal in sanctioned events, but fine for casual play), Grimlock, Dinobot Leader could change faces to become Grimlock, Ferocious King by "Converting" a Transformers toy you have to it's other mode. Notably, unlike many other double-faced cards, Grimlock "becomes" his other form, rather than "transform" to it, most likely for the sake of trademark protection regarding the way a Transformer changes to it's Alternate Mode .

Heroes of the Realm

Every year, Wizards of the Coast would give teams specific Magic: The Gathering cards for their efforts, such as for their work on a team or a project.[1] For the 2018 Heroes of the Realm, the team behind the Transformers Trading Card Game were given a specific card called "Optimus Prime, Inspiring Leader" which is a Magic card on the front side and a Transformers Trading Card Game card on the opposite side. Although presumably, they are meant to be two separate things, the Magic: The Gathering side has an ability to "Flip target Permanent to it's other face", (which might include itself, although how its other side would work in a game of Magic is unknown).

Universes Beyond Cards

Universes Beyond is the official designation for cards that feature franchises outside of the Magic: the Gathering (and Dungeons & Dragons) universe.

For the premier set The Brothers War, Wizards of the Coast Announced that 15 new doubled-faced Universes Beyond Transformers cards will be in booster packs at Hasbro Pulse Con 2022, both in Generation 1 inspired art or Full Art Shattered Glass (Franchise) versions, to coincide with the Shattered Glass Collection and the 2021 comic series from IDW Publishing. `

Notably here, the cards are stated to "convert" here, rather than "transform" or "become", finally using their official terminology.
