Skydive is the Aerialbot with the grey alt-mode and black helmet.

Toys

The Transformers

I dive from grey skies only
  • Skydive (Aerialbot, 1986, 1991)
    • Team ID number: A2
    • Japanese ID number: C-51
    • Accessories: "Nega-gun"
The Transformers Skydive transforms into an F-16 Falcon fighter jet. As a Scramble City-style combiner, he can form the arm or leg to any super robot of compatible construction, though his nominal placement is as the right leg to Superion.
All five Aerialbots were also later made available as mail-away offers in Japan during Return of Convoy in 1991. Skydive (like all the other limb-jets) cost 1000 yen and two robot points.

  • Superion (Multi-pack, 1986)
    • Japanese ID number: C-55
All five Aerialbots were made available in a gift set, released in most markets. The toys are identical to their individually-packaged versions.

  • Skydive (1990)
    • Accessories: "Nega-gun"
Skydive was rereleased without changes in the 1990 European/Australian "Classics" reissue series.

Generation 2

  • Skydive (Aerialbot, 1994)
    • Team ID number: A1
    • Accessories: "Mega Gun"
Skydive was redecoed for his Generation 2 release, gaining a fetching gray and blue scheme.
Let's see what you can see...

Specifics: Generation 2 toy

Universe (2008)

Airdive?
  • Aerial Rivals (multi-pack, 2008)
    • Series: Classic Series
A redeco of the Cybertron Jetfire's Legends of Cybertron figure, Universe Skydive transforms into a cargo plane with a color scheme based upon his Generation 2 incarnation. In his plane form, the tail section can be swiveled up to form an attack mode.
He was only available in a Target-exclusive five-pack with Legends Class Blades, Air Raid, Ramjet, and Thrust. The packaging back and the instructions swap Air Raid and Skydive's names, but since the deco used for "Air Raid" is very clearly based on Generation 2 Skydive, this can be assumed to be an error.
This sculpt was also used for Classics Fireflight.

  • Superion (Multi-pack, 2008)
    • Accessories: Shield/double-cannon, Autobot-type energon star
    • Series: G1 Series
Available only as a component of Universe Superion, this version of Skydive is a lavender and grey redeco of the Energon Sky Shadow/Terradive mold, transforming into an A-10 "Thunderbolt" plane. He can also form a leg or arm to any Energon-series "Powerlinx Combiner" super robot, though his nominal placement is as the right leg to Superion. He comes with a shield/double cannon that can become a footplate or "hand" for his combined mode, plus a blue "super energon" Autobot-style energon star that fits over his spark crystal.
He shares his mold with fellow Superion pack-mate Fireflight.
Skydive was released, along with the others in this box set, in 2008 Universe packaging in Australia and Singapore. This set was released as a Target-exclusive set in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Superion packaging for North America. Thus, this toy doubles as Movie Skydive.
This mold was also used to make Fun Publications Transformers Collectors' Club-exclusive Cybertron Skyfall.

Kre-O

  • Superion (Micro-Changer Combiner, 2013)
    • Set number: A2226
    • Pieces: 75
Kre-O Skydive comes as part of the Superion Micro-Changer combiner set, and can be rebuilt from his robot mode into a jet. He can also contribute his bricks to form Superion together with Silverbolt, Air Raid, and Firestrike.

  • Combiner Robot Mega Pack (3-pack, 2016)
    • Set number: ???
    • Pieces: 245
3 years later, the 3 Micro-Changer combiners, Superion, Bruticus, and Menasor was reissued and released as a 3-pack. The toys were unchanged from their individual releases.

Bot Shots

  • Autobot Air Force (Five-pack, 2013)
    • Series: 2
    • Number: T013
      • Fist strength: 372
      • Blaster strength: 817
      • Sword strength: 422
Bot Shots Skydive is a redeco of the Powerglide mold. As such, he turns into a super-deformed jet with a spring-loaded transformation back into robot mode. He was available in a five-pack with Silverbolt, Quickslinger, Autobot Firestrike, and Air Raid.

Combiner Wars

As featured on Pimp My Altmode.
  • Skydive (Deluxe Class, 2015)
    • 2 OF 5: Superion
    • Accessories: Double barrelled gun, Gun/fist/foot
Released under the Combiner Wars imprint of the Generations toyline, Skydive transforms from a fighter jet roughly based on a General_Dynamics_F-16_Fighting_Falcon (as evidenced by the nose cone shape, cockpit design, as well as the characteristic clipped delta wings), although with twin vertical stabilizers, to a robot that updates his original body. He can also become an arm or leg for any Voyager Class toys from the Combiner Wars or Unite Warriors lines or become one of Legends Godbomber's legs, but is mainly grouped with his fellow Deluxe Class Aerialbots Alpha Bravo, Firefly, and Air Raid, along with the Voyager Class Silverbolt, to form Superion. He is also officially associated with Galvatronus and Ultra Prime. In his instructions it states that he forms the left arm and highlights this in red. The red arm however is actually Firefly and Skydive is depicted as the left leg.
A large portion of his body parts are shared with his team mate Air Raid including his waist, legs, combining connector, and gun. Notably, said gun is in fact based upon Fireflight's photon displacer gun, presumably as a direct or indirect result of his and Skydive's weapons being swapped in their Generation 1 package art.
Skydive comes with a collector card featuring art from the "Eagle Eyes" episode of Transformers Legends.
As a part of the first and second wave promotion in Hasbro's Asian markets, a free sticker sheet for the Aerialbots and Stunticons was given out when purchasing any four Deluxe Class toys from those waves. As such, Skydive was given Generation 1 toy-esque stickers for the owner to apply if they wanted.[1]
Though designated for release in the first quarter of 2015, Skydive's wave reached U.S. store shelves in late 2014.
Skydive was redecoed into Combiner Wars General Cicadacon and Windsweeper, and also retooled into Unite Warriors Ghost Starscream and Power of the Primes Dreadwind.

Huh. Pimp my Alt-mode actually worked.
  • Superion (Collection Pack, 2016)
    • Accessories: Rifle, individual Aerialbots guns/fists/feet
A Generation 2-themed redeco of Combiner Wars Skydive is packed along with the other Aerialbots (including Powerglide), and sold as a giftset.
The Superion "Collection Pack" was (at least in theory) a "shared exclusive" between various online retailers (such as Hasbro Toy Shop,Amazon, BigBadToyStore, and Entertainment Earth) and the online storefronts of major "big box" retailers (such as Toys"R"Us, Walmart, Target, and Kmart). It was still available at general retail in Hasbro's Asian markets, though.

Unite Warriors

Takara's Unite Warriors iteration of Combiner Wars Superion features a redeco of Skydive, with blue tailfins, additional 'lightning' patterns on his wings, and additional black trim around the chest and shoulders to more closely emulate his cartoon appearance.

Titans Return

  • Blunderbuss & Broadside (Voyager Class, 2017)
Titans Return Broadside comes with tiny Aerialbot jets (specifically in the alternate modes of their Combiner Wars figures) molded on a sprue; once cut off this sprue, the jets can be attached to his carrier and robot mode ports.

Legends

The Legends release of Broadside also includes five Airbot sprues, redecoed in a different shade of gray to match Broadside's cartoon-accurate appearance.

Transformers Trading Card Game

  • Skydive, Air Warfare Specialist (2019)
    • Wave 2: Rise of the Combiners
    • Rarity: CT
    • Card Number: T39/T46
    • Stars: 5
Skydive, Air Warfare Specialist was released as part of the Transformers Trading Card Game Wave 2: Rise of the Combiners. Like all other members of combiner teams released in the set, Skydive, Air Warfare Specialist is a folding card, with the Bot and Alt modes being depicted when the card is folded in half, and a holofoil portion of the the combined mode depicted when unfolded. The reverse of Skydive, Air Warfare Specialist depicts Superion's left arm, which is formed by Skydive in the artwork.
The artwork for Bot Mode is reused from the Combiner Wars Skydive toy's packaging art, and is based on said figure.
Skydive, Air Warfare Specialist can be used to form Superion, Sky Protector with the use of the Action card Aerialbot Enigma while he and the other Wave 2 Aerialbots are in Bot mode on the battlefield or KO area.

Notes

  • Most modern Hasbro molds include a "pretooled" alternate head on the sprue, with Combiner Wars Skydive's alternate tooling being based on the Generation 1 Seeker leader Starscream. For clarification, TakaraTomy's Unite Warriors Ghost Starscream uses this pretooled head and not a TakaraTomy-original element.
